Isabel Banerjee – author of Who Am I Now?

I had written my book about 3 years earlier but had not completed entering it into the computer. Mainly, I believe, because I was thinking what now? What direction do I want to take this? Then I met Caren. We became friends and I knew she was the one to help me complete what I had started. I procrastinate and told Caren. I allowed her to put me on a schedule and gave her permission to make me accountable. She was extremely professional, knowledgeable and made me accountable for what I had told her to do. She was able to capture how I wanted to get my message across to help others and in my opinion did an extraordinary professional job editing, as well as publishing my book. I can’t thank Caren enough and plan on using her for my future endeavors.

As a first time author, I know I could not have written or published my book without the expertise of Caren. Her insight and suggested changes made my book better. She is patient and calming as she gently pushes you to meet your deadlines. I loved working with Caren and we are already collaborating on my next book.

I recommend 102nd Place and Caren to anyone writing a book.

My editor recommended that I contact Caren Cantrell to format my book.  As a first-time author, I was floundering with the next step.  Caren was amazing!  She did an incredible job of formatting my book and guided me through every step of the process to publication.  Caren was professional, timely and detail-oriented in her work.  She was also very patient with me as I attempted to grasp all the details of the publishing process.  I would highly recommend Caren Cantrell and the services she provides.

Tonya Recla – The New Corporate Revolution

Hair Stylist at Dre’s Salon in Scottsdale

Caren has been a client of mine for several years. Because she had over 30 years experience in the corporate world we would often end up talking about strategies that I could use to grow my hair styling business. During one of our sessions, Caren suggested that I write a book to use as a tool to market my business. The book would become my “ultimate” business card and be a vehicle that would set me apart from other stylists. While I have 20+ years of knowledge in the hair industry, I’m no writer. Caren said no problem, she’d ghostwrite for me. The process was easy. Caren and I spent an hour or so brainstorming the topic and the chapters that would be included. Then a few more hours of Caren interviewing me for specifics, tips and tricks for each chapter. And that was it! Off she went to create my book, “Fine-ly Fabulous! A Survival Guide for the Fine-Haired Girl.” The end result was fantastic! She captured my voice in a light and humerous way that I loved! And it has been a great marketing tool generating new business from the referral networks I’m involved in. People are impressed when I hold up my book and tell them I’m a published author. Caren was easy to work with, sensitive to what I wanted and always open to input from me. She delivered on her promises and had an organized approach to completing the project that kept us on time.I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing help becoming an author.  Melissa Glass
