I truly believe that everyone has at least one book in them. What book is in you?

Time and time again when I broach this idea of everyone having a book in them, people will say,”Oh no, I wouldn’t have a clue what to write about!” You may be one of those people. But stop and ask yourself, what is it that you like so much that you can talk about it for hours and hours? What gets you so excited that you can’t wait to tell someone? What do you look forward to doing, seeing, hearing? What are you passionate about?

If you never thought that you could turn your passion into a book, think again!

Thousands of books each year are written on everyday, ordinary topics. For example, there are currently 247 results for the term “go-carts” in the book section on Amazon and over 8,000 entries for the term “guinea pigs”! People write about everything and anything and you can too!

Don’t be concerned that there are already a number of books on the topic that you are passionate about. It’s likely that you have knowledge and/or a unique perspective on it that no one else has. If you really want to target a market for your passion, do a little internet research. Use Google to search for forums and discussion groups on your topic. What aspects are they talking about the most? You might be pleasantly surprised with how much you already know that could be turned into a useful and informative book.
